Slavik Avagyan is a multidisciplinary researcher whose work spans atmospheric physics, astronomy, and astrophysics. He introduced a fundamentally new explanation of hail formation at the XXI International Congress of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (2004, Warsaw) and later presented his study on stellar energy sources at the IAU XXVIII General Assembly (2012, Beijing). In recent years, he has focused on alternative approaches to major astrophysical problems, including the formation and stability of the Solar System, the source of stellar energy, and critical assessments of cosmology, arguing against the occurrence of the Big Bang.
